What we believe in
We expect to gather 300 metric tonnes of mobile batteries scrap in each country in Africa. In addition,we anticipate to create 150 000 jobs in Africa by 2034 thus gathering more than 10000 metric tonnes in each country in Africa by 2034.
About

Association for Engineering in Science and Technology was formed in 2023 with a group of engineering students in Africa as founders. The aim of the organization is to solve problems in Africa such as high rate of unemployment amongst graduate students, poverty due to low income streams and pollution caused by mobile batteries scrap using engineering solutions. The company extracts valuable metals from mobile batteries scrap using recycling equipment.

Overview of mobile batteries scrap in society.
Statistically, an average of 700 metric tonnes occurs in mobile electronic devices in each country in Africa. Nevertheless, realistically, 100% of mobile batteries scrap cannot be collected. The proposed recycling plant uses solar energy which uses the sun which appears in the sky with high intensity at an average of 5 hours per day and 300 days per year. The proposed recycling plant thus processes 1 metric tonne per day requiring 43% of the available mobile batteries scrap..
